I'm John Murrel, a filmmaker and editor. I make films that hold you one second longer than you planned to stay, and this is where all of it lives.

Catch the real moment
The best footage is usually the minute between takes. I would rather find that than force a perfect one.
Finish it myself
I edit and grade most of what I shoot. The cut is where the story actually gets written, so I stay with it to the last frame.
Build something lasting
I started at 12 with whatever camera I had. The goal now is a body of work I am proud of, made here in St. Louis.

Filmmaker and editor
I picked up editing when I was 12 and never put it down. At 19 I started Studio Infinite, a production company here in St. Louis, and the videos we make for clients have passed 100 million views.
I still edit most of what I shoot, usually in DaVinci Resolve with a grading panel under my hands. This site is the quieter side of that work: the stills, the process and the pieces I make for myself.

I bring the camera, light and sound for a creator, an artist or a small brand shoot, then edit what we make.
Monthly creator content
We plan a month of posts together, shoot it in one day and I edit the whole batch so you can stay consistent.
